Frequently asked questions

Which camp is right for my athlete?

Youth camps are designed for ages 6–12 and focus on fundamentals and fun. Prospect camps are for players in grades 7–12 (some camps list ages 14–19) who are thinking about playing in college. Skills clinics are short, focused sessions for ages 10–18. If you’re not sure, contact us and we’ll help you choose.

Who coaches at the camps?

Camps are led by Barry University Head Coach Sean Cotter and the Barry softball coaching staff, with help from experienced college players.

Will college coaches see my daughter play?

Yes — every prospect camp is run and evaluated by college coaches. Camps are a great way to learn what coaches look for and to get honest feedback.

How do I register and pay?

All registration and payment is handled online. Click any Register button on this site to choose your camp and complete checkout.

What should my athlete wear and bring?

Softball pants or athletic shorts, a T-shirt, cleats (turf shoes for younger players), glove, bat, helmet, a large labeled water bottle, sunscreen and a hat. Catchers should bring full gear. Pack lunch and snacks for full-day camps.

Can parents stay and watch?

Parents are welcome to watch from the stands. To keep athletes focused, we ask that parents stay off the field and out of the dugouts during camp.

Is lunch provided?

Unless your camp listing says otherwise, please pack a lunch and snacks for full-day camps. Water stations are available, but bring a large water bottle.

What happens if it rains?

Florida weather moves fast. We keep training when conditions are safe and pause immediately for lightning. If a session has to be canceled, registered families will be contacted with make-up or refund information.

What is your refund policy?

Please see our Camp Policies page for the full refund and cancellation policy.

Are camps open to everyone?

Yes. In line with NCAA rules, Elite Collegiate Skills camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade and/or gender.

Can my team book a private camp?

Yes! We run team camps and clinics for travel and high school teams. Contact us with your team’s age group, preferred dates and what you want to work on.
